We are happy to ADD new or  established Groups to the
Book Clique Cafe.

We require that groups have at least 8-10 members.
We require a dedicated leader of the group who interacts with the members and Book Clique Cafe management.
Your group should be internet based in order to be open to all members. This does not have to be ALL modalities, but at least some aspects of the group have to be open to everyone.
Your group MUST be based around book discussions. Mature topics (NO Pornography or Solicitation) may be discussed...BUT...if you have ONLY adult content, that MUST be noted on your group page. (Example..a Literary Erotica group would have an 18+ notation)

Basically,  we ask that Established Groups be Viable, Responsive to their members and site administration, Courteous to Newbies, and keep TOPICS within a PG13 family rating.
We require some Specific Information in order to set up your group page and web ring.  Send an email with this information to: Readinggroups@aol.com

BCC can create message boards and internet chat rooms for your use.
If you need a Chatroom or Message Board, let us know!
Chat Rooms are unique for your group and available 24/7
Message Boards MUST be moderated by a Leader(s) of the Group. You must Register at ezboard and post at Bookaholics, where you will be given moderating powers specifically for your Group Boards.

Its YOUR Group and YOU are responsible for frequently logging on, reading, and generally responding to postings, along with deleting any problematic postings that you consider unacceptable for the group.

If you Want to CREATE a NEW Reading Group, we have a message board where you can post to find like-minded people.

We suggest you use additional internet sources like list serves, etc. to find start up and ongoing new members.

You will generally have to learn the skills to market your group.
www.readinggroupsonline.com  will be listed at various search engines and has some word of mouth, but any new groups will have to learn early on how to market their own groups on the internet if you want to see a quick startup and long term survival.
